Antique late Victorian 9ct gold novelty propelling pencil in the form of a crucifix. Cylindrical shaped body with bright cut hand chased foliate decoration around the outside & a suspension loop & ring at the top. Circular centre sliding band monogrammed around the outside which extends & retracts the internal pencil tip. The tip has a twist action which extends & retracts the pencil lead mechanism, both mechanisms are in complete working order. The pencil comes complete with a lead in the tip. The suspension ring is marked "375" for 9ct gold. Lovely collectors item.
