Description
Antique Art Deco 18ct gold & platinum 5 stone diamond boat ring, original presentation case, 1920's/30's. 5 Old mine cut claw set diamonds set in a platinum gallery boat setting, finished on the shoulders with fine hand chasing, on a 18ct gold shank. Marked 750 for 18ct gold. The central diamond being 0.20ct approximately, total diamond weight 0.35ct approximately, colour grade G, clarity grade VVS2. With original Jeweller's presentation case. The case being red leather, although this has worn in places due to age. The hinged double lid with satin inner to each side with the Jeweller's name & address "Watchmaker Jeweller & Silversmith William Watson Diamond House 50, Dale Street, Liverpool". The ring insert being padded velvet. To the underside of the case is a tiny ribbon & when pulled a stand opens so the ring can be displayed in it's own case. A truly beautiful example from the Art Deco period.
