Description
Antique Art deco 18ct gold & platinum blue zircon ring, 1920's/30's. Oval cut double claw set blue zircon, accented by old cut claw set diamonds, set in platinum. The blue zircon measuring 8mm x 7 1/2 mm. Total diamond weight 0.08ct, colour & clarity cannot be graded due to size & setting. The girdle & back of the gallery is yellow gold & the shank white gold. Mixed metals were used in this period both for practical & aesthetic reasons. The Zircon is the original to the ring, not a replacement as you can see from the photographs it's facet edges have abraded over decades of wear.  Not hallmarked but tested as 18ct gold. A stunning piece form the Art Deco era. With gift box. Ultrasonically cleaned. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the overall description.
