Antique Art Deco solid sterling silver propelling pencil. Octagonal shaped plain body with a pocket clip on the side & a removable stepped top cap where spare leads can be stored inside. On every other side panel is a sliding button that extends & retracts the four different colour leads. Engraved on the side panels are interesting inscriptions commemorating the laying of the foundation stone for the Derby Baths in the seaside town of Blackpool in Lancashire, England 1938. Imported hallmarks stamped on the side of the pencil. Lovely collectors item.

Excellent condition with light surface marks that consistent with genuine age, use & polishing. There are no dings or dents. The pencil mechanism sliders are a little stiff but are in working order.
