Description
Antique Dutch solid silver creamer, 1885. Solid silver creamer in the form of a cow. Hinged saddle with fine hand chased decoration & a fly. Curled tail for the handle, cream to be poured through the cow's mouth. Stamped to the underside of the cow's belly, lion passant, & other stamps that sadly cannot be distinguished. The underside of the saddle stamped with Minerva's head stamp. The front left leg of the cow has been stamped with the date letter for 1885. Lovely collector's item.

Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing.
