Antique Dutch solid sterling silver snuff/peppermint box. Oval shaped box with stepped base & beautifully embossed decoration around the outside & on top of the lid with country & dairy scenes. Hinged lid on the top with banded decoration around the outside. Fully hallmarked on the under side with the Dutch silver lion & key export mark, the makers mark which I am unable to identify & on the rim is the date letter "C" & on the lid edge is the Dutch Minerva mark. lovely collectors item.
