Antique Edwardian 15ct gold peridot pendant/brooch & original 9ct gold chain, c1905. A very pretty piece of Edwardian Jewellery. 15ct gold open work with an oval cut claw set peridot to the centre & a smaller round cut claw set peridot hangs on it's own loop to the bottom of the pendant. The central peridot is 0.55ct approximately & the smaller one is 0.25ct approximately. Peridots originated from the island of St. John in the red sea. The pendant has a pin verso, so can also be worn as a brooch. The pendant comes with it's original 9ct gold chain with a tube lock fastening. The pendant is marked 15ct, although the number 1 has been rubbed. The chain is marked 9ct. With presentation case. A fantastic addition to any collection.
