Antique Edwardian 18ct gold spinel bar brooch, c1905, original presentation case. 18ct Rose gold bar brooch set with colourless & pinky red spinel. The outer rim of the brooch having fine hand chased decoration all the way around. Hinge pin with C catch to verso. Not marked but tested as 18ct gold. Complete with original leather tooled presentation case with push button opening to the front. The interior with burgundy velvet jewellery pad to the bottom & satin to the interior lid with jeweller's name "A McKenzie Watchmaker & Jeweller Turriff. Turriff, a town in Scotland. Condition.
The brooch being in excellent condition. The satin interior of the lid, a little worn which can be seen in the photographs. Apart from that, both brooch & case are in excellent condition.
