Description
Antique Edwardian 9ct gold multi gem brooch, c1905. 9ct Gold brooch with 11 oval cut faceted claw set stones. The central largest stone is Helidor, also known as Golden Beryl. From the hinge the first 5 stones are glass, then the largest Helidor, then garnet, glass, garnet, glass, & the final stone garnet. All stones have been tested with a Presidium Gem Tester. Hinge pin with lever safety catch to verso. This piece would have originally been part of a bracelet as through a loop the tube hinges can be seen between each stone so would have given good articulation. Not marked but tested as 9ct gold. Ultrasonically cleaned. With gift box. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the overall description.
