A rare set of antique Edwardian solid sterling silver postal scales. Half circle face with black indicator dial on an ivorine face set in a solid silver case & stood a rectangular loaded silver base with red leather protector on the underside. Flat letter plate on the top with shaped edge. The scales are in excellent working order. Fully hallmarked on the side of the case. lovely collectors item.

Condition.

Excellent condition, some of the indication lines on the ivorine face have faded or been rubbed & two of the tiny tabs holding the outer face plate onto the body are missing but this does not effect the overall condition of the scales.
