Antique English Art Deco silver plated three piece tea set. The set consists of a tea pot, a cream jug & a sugar bowl. Each piece is of plain tapering rectangular form with fluted decoration on the corners & raised on stepped pedestal base. The geometric shape of each piece is typical of the Art Deco period. The teapot has a black Bakelite lifting handle on one side, a swan neck pouring spout on the other side. There is a black Bakelite finial on the hinged lid on the top. The sugar bowl has a harp shaped lifting handle on each side & the cream jug has a matching handle & pouring spout. The teapot is marked on the underside with the makers mark but unfortunately I am unable to identify. A very nice clean example, lovely fully usable collectors item.

Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing. There is no damage, no loss of silver plate & there are no dings or dents.
