Description
A fine quality antique English Art Deco solid sterling silver cigarette case. Rectangular shaped case with rounded edges on the top & bottom. The back of the case being curved so as to fit neatly into a gentleman's pocket. Decorated on the back & front with engine turned stripes. Vacant cartouche to the front. Push button catch on one side which opens the two halves with a nice tight fitting hinge on the other. Gilt washed interior, sadly the elastic cigarette retainers are missing. Fully hallmarked inside on both sides of the case. A nice fine example, lovely collectors item. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the overall description.
