Antique Victorian Art Nouveau solid sterling silver vesta case. Rectangular shaped case with beautiful raised foliate border decoration around the back & front. Vacant cartouche on both sides, suspension loop & ring on the back. Hinged top lid with original leaf spring inside & nice tight hinge. Match striker on the bottom & fully hallmarked on the inside rim. lovely collectors item.

Condition.
Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing. There are several pin holes on the very extremities of the raised decoration in places as you would expect due to polishing over the years.
