A fine quality antique Edwardian solid sterling silver cigar case. Rectangular shaped case with rounded edges & beautifully decorated with bright cut hand chased foliate decoration on the back & front & a vacant shield shaped cartouche on the front. Push button catch on one side opens the hinged lid & inside is a gilt lined finish with positions to hold four cigars & an elastic holder on one side. Fully hallmarked on the inside of the case. A very nice clean example, lovely collectors item.

Condition.
Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing. There are no dings or dents. The elastic holder inside has stretched over the years but this could easily be replaced or shortened slightly.
