Antique English Edwardian Solid Silver jewellery Box, (William Hutton, 1903)
A fine quality antique English Edwardian solid sterling silver jewellery box. Rectangular shaped box with undulating wavy sides & a gadrooned border on the top & bottom edge. On the top is a beautifully decorated raised depiction of two cherubs with musical instruments surrounded by a foliate border. around the outside edges are equally beautifully decorated with repousse images of cherubs holding hands in a country scene. The lid is opened by a push catch on the front with a tight hinge on the back. Inside is a nicely lined cream velvet & silk interior with the retailers name on the lid. The box is fully hallmarked on the underside edge. Lovely collectors item.
