A fine antique English Edwardian solid silver table snuff box. Rectangular shaped box with plain sides & a crimped border on the top & bottom. On the top embossed hinged lid beautifully decorated with a  grape vine decoration & a vacant cartouche in the centre. Inside the box was gilded but most of the gilding on the bottom half has been rubbed away due to cleaning over the years. The box is fully hallmarked on the side & the lid rim. A fine example, lovely collectors item.

Condition.

Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age use & polishing. There are no dings or dents on the sides or the lid & no holes in the lid. There are just some minor dings on the plain underside.
