Antique English Edwardian solid sterling silver vesta case. Retangular shaped case with beautiful hand chased foliate decoration on the back & front & a vacant shield shaped cartouche on the front. Suspension loop & ring on the back edge & an unusual steel insert match striker on the bottom. Hinged lid on the top with original leaf spring inside & fully hallmarked on the inside rim. An excellent clean example with no dings or dents, lovely collectors item.
