Antique English solid sterling silver three piece tea set. The set consists of a tea pot, a cream jug & a sugar bowl. Each piece is of an oval shaped form with fluted corners & each raised on four bun feet. The teapot has a black Bakelite harp shaped handle on one side & a swan neck pouring spout on the other. The teapot is finished on the top with a domed hinged lid with a black Bakelite finial handle. The sugar bowl has a scrolled lifting handle on either side & the cream jug has a matching handle on one side with a wide pouring spout on the other. Each piece is fully hallmarked on the side of the body with strangely one piece being assayed at a different office to the other two albeit all the same date & maker. Lovely fully usable collectors item.
