Antique English Edwardian solid sterling silver topped glass scent/perfume bottle. Globe shaped bottle with hobnail decoration. On the top is an Art Nouveau design solid silver embossed hinged globe lid with vacant cartouche on the top & inside is the original glass stopper. Fully hallmarked on the side of the collar & lid. lovely collectors item.

Condition.
Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing. With no cracks in the glass, the only slight defect is a small visualisation of a section of the seam in the hinged lid. I don't believe that it is a crack in the joint, I think it is more of defect in the soldering in the original manufacture of the lid. It is all solid & does not detract from the overall condition of the bottle.
