Description
Antique Georgian 18ct gold forget me not ruby & pearl memorial ring, c1800. A central ruby (approximately 0.03ct), surrounded by 6 pearls. Fine open scroll work to the shoulders & finished with a reeded shank. At the centre back of the gallery is a bevelled glass locket area where the plaited hair of a loved one can be seen. The glass is still intact which is so often missing in a ring of this age. A rare & absolutely fantastic example & comes complete with a gift box.
