Description
Antique Georgian 18ct gold ruby & half pearl memorial ring, c1800. A central ruby surrounded by 8 half pearls. Split shoulders with fine hand chased decoration leading to a reeded shank. At the center back of the gallery is a locket area where the plaited hair of a loved would of been, sadly the glass is missing as is so often the case with a ring of this age. Not marked, but tested as 18ct gold. A fantastic example. With gift box. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the overall description.
