Antique Georgian 18ct gold ruby & seed pearl memorial ring, c1820. Intricate open work set with 3 rubies & 6 seed pearls.  At the centre back of the ring is a locket area where the hair of a loved one would have been kept. A fine example & comes complete with a gift box.

Condition.
Excellent condition, there is a small repair to one shoulders, although this can only be seen with a magnifying glass & not the naked eye. This can be seen in the photographs above, due to the fact they are so magnified. Light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing.
