Antique Georgian 18ct gold ruby & seed pearl ring, (Birmingham 1821). Claw set rubies & bezel set seed pearls set in 18ct gold. Back plate still intact which is so often missing with a ring of this age. Inscription on the inside of the shank reads, "CAW from WCD". Fully hallmarked. A fabulous example & comes complete with a gift box.

Condition.

Excellent condition, there is a small repair to one of the shoulders, although this can only be seen with a magnifying glass & not with the naked eye. This can be seen in the photographs above, due to the fact they are so magnified. Light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing.
