Description
Antique Japanese boxwood netsuke. Fabulously detailed boxwood netsuke (toggle hung from the Kimono sach) of a mouse pulling a cat's tail. Double holes for cord & signed to the underside of the mouse. The netsuke acted as a toggle hung from the Kimono sash & were popular during the Edo & Meiji period. Lovely collectors item.
