 Antique mid Victorian Whitby Jet 9ct gold seed pearl mourning locket & necklace. Beautifully carved Whitby Jet mourning locket inset with a 9ct gold star adorned with seed pearls to the center. Photograph to verso of a Victorian lady. The locket hangs on it's original Whitby Jet double strand beaded necklace having a 9ct bolt ring fastener, the fastener being stamped 9ct. A superb quality piece from the mid Victorian period. With gift box. A fantastic addition to any collection.
