A rare antique English Victorian solid sterling silver vesta case made to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. Retangular shaped case with beautiful fine repousse foliate decoration surrounding the outside with a hart shape & raised image of Queen Victoria on the front & monogrammed heart shaped cartouche on the back. Match striker on the bottom & a nice tight hinged lid at the top with original leaf spring inside. Fully hallmarked on the inside rim. Lovely collectors item.
