Antique Victorian solid silver novelty propelling pencil in the form of a salmon fish. Suspension loop & ring at the top & by pulling out the tail fin removes the internal propelling pencil. The internal pencil slides to extend & retract the pencil tip which has a twist action tip that extends & retracts the pencil lead mechanism. Both mechanisms are in excellent working order. The pencil comes complete with a pencil lead in the tip. The pencil is stamped at the top of the internal pencil with the makers marks. Lovely collectors item.
