Cylindrical shaped body with screw twist decoration around the outside, a fluted ball on the top end & a plain tip at the bottom. By twisting the screw section & the ball top the internal propelling pencil mechanism extends & retracts. Stamped on the bottom tip with "Sterling" for solid silver & the makers mark on the other side. Lovely collectors item.
