A very fine antique Scottish George II solid sterling silver snuff box. Escutcheon-shaped box with scalloped  sides & a stepped border rim at the top. A nice tight fitting hinged lid on the top with beautiful fine detail repousse foliate decoration around the outside & a nice polished agate gemstone on the top. Gilt lined interior with silver hallmark on the bottom. Lovely collectors item.
