Antique Edwardian solid 9ct gold magic propelling pencil. Cylindrical shaped plain outer body with hinged top suspension loop & ring. The inner pencil pulls out of the body which has a fine fluted decoration around the outside & a ball on the top. By pulling the ball on the top the pencil extends & the internal propelling pencil tip extends telescopically. By pushing the ball in, both ends of the pencil retract back in. The pencil has a twist action tip which extends & retracts the internal pencil lead mechanism. Both mechanisms are in excellent working condition.The pencil comes complete with a lead in the tip & the pencil is fully hallmarked on all pieces. Lovely collectors item.
