Antique solid sterling silver carpenters pencil. Rectangular shaped plain form pencil with rounded edges, a stepped band around the two sections & a suspension loop & ring at the bottom. The plain top pulls out with the carpenters pencil attached inside. Engraved on one side with the words "Musical Ride 1913" which possibly refers to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police formal annual event. Fully hallmarked on the side of the body although slightly rubbed I cannot identify the maker. lovely collectors item.
