Description
Antique solid silver propelling pencil. Cylindrical shaped body with a combination of engine turned & dot decoration around the outside. Removable screw cap seal with the letter M engraved at the top decorated with acanthus leaf design. Inside the top is a spare lead compartment. Matching sliding ring around the outside which when slid to the bottom extends the pencil tip mechanism. Twist action tip which extends & retracts the pencil lead & is in complete working order. Comes complete with a lead in the tip. Fully hallmarked on the side of the body. lovely collectors item.

Condition.
Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing. There is the tiniest little split on the end of the nozzle tip which is where the join would be but this does not detract from the overall condition of the pencil.
