Description
Antique solid silver propelling pencil. Cylindrical shaped body with fluted decoration running along the length. Removable screw top with a bloodstone cap seal & decorated with acanthus leaf design. Inside the top is a revolver/pepperpot spare lead compartment. Matching sliding ring around the outside which when slid to the bottom extends the pencil tip mechanism. Twist action tip which extends & retracts the pencil lead & is in complete working order (Lead size M). Not hallmarked but tested as solid sterling silver. lovely collectors item.
