A very rare set of antique Edwardian solid sterling silver postal scales with a stamp drawer at the bottom. Rectangular shaped base raised on four ball feet. Inside the base is a small mahogany drawer with a solid silver face & knob for storing postage stamps in. A curved shaped ivorine face on the front with a double indicator in the centre. Flat circular letter plate on the top with adjuster knob underneath. The scales are in excellent working order. Fully hallmarked on the side of the case. Very rare to find a set of these scales with a stamp drawer underneath & in complete condition. lovely collectors item.

Condition.
Excellent condition, some of the indication lines on the ivorine face have faded or been rubbed although "postal scales" is still readable. The circular letter plate at the top has a small crease line across the top & is also a little bent. but I would rather leave it as it is than try to bend it back.
