Antique Victorian 15ct gold peridot & seed pearl hinged pendant/brooch, c1895. A stunning piece of Victorian Jewellery. The finest peridots are a deep lime colour & these certainly are. Peridots originated from the island of St. John in the red sea. The peridots are bezel set. The pendant is also adorned with seed pearls. This piece can be worn as a brooch. The necklace loop can be removed & there is a hinge so the loop holder can be dropped back & hidden from sight. Marked 15ct. With presentation case. A fantastic addition to any collection.
