Antique Victorian 15ct gold ruby & diamond gypsy set hinged bangle, c1880. Four rubies & three old cut diamonds (each diamond approximately 0.10ct) claw set in 15ct gold star set gypsy setting. Hand chased decoration to the front edges of the bangle and the back being peirced. Safety chain & good tight fitting clasp & hinge. The bangle is not marked as was often the case with some jewellery of this age, but tests as 15ct gold. Complete with gift box. A stunning example.
