Description

Antique Victorian 18ct gold forget me not ruby & turquoise memorial ring, c1800. A central ruby (approximately 0.03ct), surrounded by 6 cabochon turquoise & 6 interspersed rubies, finished with split band decorated shoulders.  At the centre back of the gallery is a locket area where the plaited hair of a loved one can be seen. Sadley, the glass is missing, which is so often the case with a ring of this age. Fantastic example & comes complete with a gift box.

Please see photographs. There is a small split to one of the shoulders & a tiny indent to the shank where the ring has been altered at some point. This does not detract from the overall appearance of this fantastic example.
