Description
Antique Victorian 9ct gold amethyst & seed pearl closed back ring, Birmingham 1881. Five graduated claw set oval amethyst & eight claw set seed pearls set in 9ct gold. The gallery edges being scrolled & the back of the gallery having a closed back. The shoulders having bright cut fine hand chased decoration which continues all around the shank. Fully hallmarked. A fabulous piece from the Victorian era showing the fine craftmanship of that time. With gift box. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the overall description.

Condition.
A couple of claws on one of the amethyst have worn with age as can be seen in the photographs, but this does not detract from the rings overall appearance. Other than that this ring is in excellent condition.
