Description
Antique Victorian 9ct gold enamel pearl & hair mourning ring, Chester 1891. 9ct Gold mourning ring set with a single pearl to the shield & flanked by a seed pearl either side. Fine hand chased decoration to the shank with open work to reveal the plaited hair of a loved one. Fully hallmarked to the inside of the shank with an inscription " In Memory of Papa".  A fantastic piece from the Victorian era & fine example to add to any collection. With gift box.

Condition.
One piece of the open work is missing which can be seen in the photographs, but this does not detract from the overall appearance of this ring. Other than that, in excellent condition for it's age.
