Antique Victorian 9ct yellow & rose gold ruby eyes owl brooch, c1890. 9ct Yellow gold in the form of leaves having fine hand chasing on rose gold branches finished with a finely hand chased detailed owl to the center. The owl having bezel set ruby eyes & being closed back. Tube hinged pin with C catch & roller safety catch to verso. Stamped 9ct to verso of the owl's tail. Ultrasonically cleaned.
