Description
Antique Victorian gold closed back mourning brooch, c1850. Dainty brooch of rectangular form, having black enamel with forget me not emblem set with 7 rose cut diamonds. Finishing with collet set seed pearls all around the edge of the brooch. The brooch itself tests as higher than 9ct gold, the closed back has tested as gold plated. Tube hinged pin & C catch to verso. Condition.
 There are holes to the gold on the edges of the brooch which can be seen in the photographs, this does not detract from the overall appearance of this brooch. In good condition.
