Antique Victorian solid sterling silver propelling pencil. Cylindrical shaped body with hand chased decoration around the outside & an attached suspension loop & ring at the top. Stepped tapering band at the bottom when pulled out telescopically the internal pencil tip extends from inside. The mechanism is very smooth & is in excellent working condition. The pencil tip has a twist action that when turned extends & retracts the pencil lead mechanism which is in full working condition & comes complete with a lead in the tip. The pencil is marked on the side of the internal body with the makers mark. lovely collectors item.
