Antique English Victorian solid sterling silver nurses buckle. Nicely shaped two piece, pierce work buckle, beautiful decorated with bright cut hand chased foliate decoration. On the front of each half is a circular cartouche with a bird depicted inside. On the back of the buckle are the two belt loops & the hook & eye clasp. Fully hallmarked on the front of each piece. lovely collectors item.
