A fine quality antique solid sterling silver snuff box. Rectangular shaped box with beautiful fine detail repousse foliate decoration borders on the top & bottom outside edges. A raised top with repousse border & vacant cartouche in the centre. Engine turned decoration around the outside edges & on the underside panel. Nicely fitting hinged lid with a very good quality tight hinge on the back. Gilded lined interior with full English hallmarks on the bottom & lid. Lovely collectors item.

Condition.
Excellent condition with no damage or dings or dents. The panel on the top is very slightly rubbed into the engine turned border probably due to the polishing over the years.
