A late Victorian English antique solid sterling silver propelling pencil. Cylindrical shaped body with beautiful repousse foliate decoration around the outside. Suspension loop & ring at the top & a sliding button on the side which extends & retracts the internal pencil mechanism & attached pencil. The makers mark is incorporated in the design on the outside of the pencil & although unhallmarked it has been acid tested to confirm it is made from solid sterling silver. Lovely collectors item.
