Vintage solid sterling silver novelty propelling pencil in the form of a "Reddy" golf tee. Plain body with tapering tip a golf ball stand at the top. By twisting the tapering tip the internal pencil lead mechanism extends & retracts which is in excellent working order. Marked around the top of the pencil with "sterling silver". I have dated this pencil to around 1935 due the fact that this is a much earlier design of golf tee pencil than normally found. the top is in the for of the "Reddy" golf tee that was used in the 1920's & 30's. The pencil come complete with a pencil lead in the tip. lovely collectors item.
